Rosters and Escalation

Each player chooses a faction and initially designs two 500 point lists. There are no restrictions to these lists aside from the usual Mercenary contract limitations and the restriction on Epic characters. These lists are to remain the same for the duration of the first third of the league during which each player will play each other player once. Bring both lists to each game and choose which one to use when you see your opponent's lists (although you'll not know which of his lists he'll be using).

Once all players have played each other once then players can expand their lists to 750 points. There will be no need to keep the same Warcasters and Epic characters are now in play. Aside from this rules are as per the 500 point series.

Once the second series is complete we'll expand to 1,000 points which introduces the ability to take two Warcasters including one Epic if desired. All other rules as above.

This means that, with six participants, everyone will fight a total of fifteen battles - five at 500 points, five at 750 and five at 1000 - over the course of the league.

Scoring

Teams will get three points for a win and one point for a draw.

League position will be determined by:

  1. Points
  2. (Warcaster) assassinations +/-
  3. (Warcaster) assassinations (no. of)
  4. Victory Points +/-
